A specifically designed minispin column is widely introduced into XNAPS nucleic acid purification kits. This column fits all 1.5 ml and 2 ml microfuge tubes. With its "Y" shape and thin wall, the internal volume of the column can reach to 1 ml, which is 20-30% more than commonly available columns. The flat, mesh bottom provides even support for filling material and no frit is needed further.
Furthermore, the matching retainer ring ensures the complete descharge of solution from the column, eliminating the carryover of residual amounts of buffer.
